National Girl Child Day is celebrated to raise mindfulness among people regarding inequalities, demarcation, and exploitation faced by girls in society.

India is celebrating National Girl Child Day on Monday(January 24). It’s an action accepted by the ministry of women and child development with an ideal to give support and openings to the girls of India.

Several Union ministers have extended their wishes on the occasion, listing the measures taken by the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) government at the Centre for “women-led development”.

Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) chairman Jagat Prakash Nadda also extended his wishes, saying that the Centre is taking way “to educate women and make them tone- reliant”.

Observing National Girl Child Day 2023 on 24th January is a significant action taken by the Government of India to promote the rights of girl children.
