Our world is in a constant state of chaos and fear and our kiddies are surely feeling it too. They ’re not vulnerable. Every many days I get an dispatch from another mama whose child is floundering with anxiety because of our crazy world.

But indeed though it might look like politicians, preceptors, siblings or indeed contagions are our adversary, Paul reminds us in Ephesians that

“Our struggle isn’t against meat and blood, but against the autocrats, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of wrong in the heavenly realms.”

The spiritual forces of wrong. While I don’t know exactly what that expression means, one thing I do know is that the spiritual world touches ours. I’ve educated enough hassles with God to know that our world goes far beyond the physical.

And if the holy and beautiful spiritual world touches ours, that means the evil corridor do too.?

“Stand establishment also, with the belt of verity buckled around your midriff, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your bases fitted with the readiness that comes from the philosophy of peace. In addition to all this, take up the guard of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil bone. Take the helmet of deliverance and the brand of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

We’re invited, no, commanded to put on God’s Armor. But your kiddies don’t know (and don’t care) that there’s a spiritual battle going on all around them, and it affects their lives every day!

But it’s tough to know how to supplicate the armor of God over our kiddies, or to educate them about it. perhaps you have a vague idea about it, but you don’t want to scarify your kiddies. perhaps you ’ve given up because when you try to talk about it with your kiddies, they just start brand- fighting and you give up. perhaps your kiddies just roll their eyes when you talk about God.

Or perhaps you don’t know important about the Bible yourself and are uncomfortable leading your kiddies or soliciting for them.

The 7 Pieces of the Armor of spiritual God

# 1 Belt of Truth

A dogface is only ready for battle when he’s girded with his belt. A Roman dogface’s belt was made of essence and thick heavy leather and was the carrying place for his brand. It also had a defensive piece that hung down in the front. His belt held all other pieces of his armor together. To be fitted with his belt, meant he was ready to face action.

#2 Breastplate of Righteousness

The Roman dogface was always equipped with a breastplate. This piece of armor defended his vital organs in the heat of the battle – when he wasn’t quick enough to take up his guard. The breastplate was for the quick and unanticipated advances of the adversary.

# 3 Sandals with the Gospel of Peace

Roman dogface’s bases were fitted with sandals called caligae. These sandals were made to help cover dogface’s bases during their long marches into battle. They had extremely thick soles and wrapped impeccably around their ankles in a way that defended against blistering. Caligae also had harpoons on the bottom to help them stand establishment as they traveled. This helped them have a firm foundation.

4 Shield of Faith

The Roman dogface’s guard was a complex piece of armor. The guard, also called a scutum, was a dogface’s primary protective armament. It was made of impenetrable wood, leather, oil, and essence and could be doused in water to extinguish the fiery arrows of the adversary.

# 5 Helmet of Salvation

The Soldier’s head is one of his most vulnerable areas. Without his helmet, one blow to the head would prove fatal. His helmet covered his entire head, facial area, and between the eyes. His armor would prove useless if he wasn’t equipped with his helmet.

#6 Sword of the Spirit

Our brand is the Word of God, both the written and the incarnate Word. Every other piece of armor protects us against attacks. With God’s Word, we’re truly suitable to fight and master all adversaries. Christ used Book to master Satan when He was tempted in the desert. We must do the same.

# 7 Prayer

In prayer, we show our reliance upon God to act and move. Our entire armor is embedded in His strength. Without His presence, we’re helpless in the fight. We must fight on our knees. The One who has won the war is with us in the battle. We’ll see a palm when we fight in His power.
